A Carnival Cruise ship was forced to return to port after a passenger was deemed to require immediate medical attention. Charleston County EMS as well as local Firefighters responded to the call for assistance and removed the passenger who had suffered what they described as a “minor” injury. The cruise ship then left Charleston harbor to return to its planned route heading for the Bahamas. It is scheduled to make its first port of call on Friday, suffering no delay to its itinerary.
